Designed by BDP and built by Morgan Ashhurst, The Point opened its doors for the first time for the England-Australia NatWest Series ODI on June 27th 2010.
This short movie gives you a snapshot of The Point during its first few months of opening, showcasing its facilities for Conferences, Gala Dinners, Weddings, Hospitality and Fireworks! (please note: the movie works best with sound turned on!).
The Point at LCCC
The Point is an elevated suite with a stunning aspect, glass-fronted and with a balcony overlooking the famous Old Trafford pitch. Inside, the facility offers 7m headroom without any pillars to impede the view!
The Point allows for a sit-down dinner capacity of up to 1,000 guests (850 with a dance-floor). Conference capacity is also 1,000. The room itself is sub-divisible into three sections and can be easily adaptable for smaller events.
There is a wonderful mezzanine bar area overlooking the main suite and another separate private bar. Design of the suite incorporates some of the very latest green / eco-friendly features, and access for all has been made fully available.

Large, full of light, eco-friendly and modern, this versatile suite has been built to a high technical specification. With amongst many other features – full blackout facility and amazing lighting, we believe that The Point is truly an Event Organiser’s dream venue.
Getting to The Point at Lancs CCC is very simple.
We are located next to Old Trafford Metrolink station, which is a 10 minute ride from central Manchester’s train stations. Our large on-site car park provides parking for 600 cars.
